How to Play Sudoku

Brainium crafted the ultimate version of Sudoku by adding a modern user-friendly interface to it. It is no surprise that their version is one of the most downloaded and top-rated Sudoku games out there. The main objective in every Sudoku game is to fill each empty square with numbers. Players are presented with a 9×9 grid that consists of 3×3 sub-grids. The challenge for every player is to successfully place the numbers 1 to 9 in the squares without repeating a single number in a column, row, or grid.

Some numbers will be provided by default on random squares, so your task is just to fill in the missing ones to complete the puzzle. Placing the subsequent numbers will require a lot of consideration and logic—but that’s precisely the purpose and challenge of the game.

How Do I Earn Points in Sudoku?

Brainium’s Sudoku features five difficulty levels: Breezy, Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert. Each level has a “Par Time” and when you complete a puzzle, each second in your recorded par time will give 1 bonus point. However, mistakes will be deducted from your final score upon completion. And if you want to qualify for the global leaderboards, you must complete a Sudoku puzzle without using any hints.
